Who processes your data

The data controller is CHEMCOLOR - Obrt za proizvodnju i usluge, vl. Mate Bonovil, Hrvatskih branitelja 30, 21233 Proložac Donji, Croatia.

What we collect and why

We collect data only when you type it in yourself, and that happens in two places.

The form on the Contact page and the order enquiry

• Name and e-mail - so we know who to reply to and where.
• Phone - optional, if a call is quicker for you.
• Town - optional, so we know where a parcel would go.
• Selected models - colour, DEN, size and quantity, if you send the enquiry from the list of models.
• Message - what you wrote.

The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box before sending, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

We do not use your data for newsletters or any kind of marketing, because we do not collect it for that. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and enquiries for as long as the correspondence lasts and at most two years after the last message, so that we can go back to what was agreed. You can ask us to delete messages and enquiries sooner.

Cookies: only with your consent

The site itself sets no cookies. The exception is Google Analytics, which we use to measure which pages are read, where visitors come from and how many enquiries arrive, and only if you accept it in the bar at the bottom of the page. Until you decide, and if you reject it, nothing from Google is loaded. There is no Facebook pixel, no advertising cookies, no embedded video and no social plugins.

With your consent Google Analytics sets two cookies:

• _ga - tells one visitor from another by a random number, not by name or e-mail; lasts 2 years.
• _ga_1BM9P9DSR6 - keeps track of the visit; lasts 2 years.

It records which pages you opened, which page you came from, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location (city or country) derived from the IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address itself. When you send an enquiry, only the fact that it was sent is recorded, without your name, e-mail or message. We keep visit data for 14 months. Advertising and ad personalisation are switched off even with consent.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Croatian Electronic Communications Act). You can withdraw it as easily as you gave it, with the Cookie settings button, which is also in the footer of every page. When you withdraw consent, the _ga cookies are deleted. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage (chemcolor-pristanak-v1), not in a cookie.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Google’s privacy policy.

What is stored on your device anyway

When you add a product to your enquiry list, the list is saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), so it does not disappear while you browse. It is not a cookie and it does not reach us until you send the enquiry - until then it stays on your device only. Only what you selected is stored: the product code, colour, DEN, size and quantity.

We do not ask consent for that storage because it is necessary for a service you explicitly requested, but we do have to tell you about it - and here we have. You can delete it with the “Empty the list” button or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Who the data is passed on to

No one beyond those needed for the site to work and for your enquiry to reach us.

• Cloudflare - serves this site and stores enquiries in a database. Like any server, it logs technical details of the request, including the IP address, for security and to run the service. See their privacy policy.
• Resend - delivers an enquiry sent from this site to us as an e-mail. See their privacy policy.
• Google - we receive enquiries and notifications in the business’s Gmail inbox, and only with your consent Google Analytics measures visits (see Cookies). See their privacy policy.

Fonts and all images are served from this domain, not from external networks, so simply opening the page does not send your IP address to any third party other than those named above.

The map on the Contact page is an ordinary link, not an embedded frame. Google does not learn that you visited this page unless you open that link yourself.

Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

• find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• ask for rectification of inaccurate data;
• ask for erasure;
• ask for restriction of processing or object to it;
• withdraw your consent, without affecting processing that happened before that;
• ask for portability of the data you gave us.

An e-mail to narudzbe@chemcolor-carape.hr is enough. We answer within one month at the latest.

If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

Children

The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from people under 16. If you think that has happened anyway, tell us and we will delete the data.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this text will change with it, and the date at the top will show when. We will flag significant changes on the site.

This is a translation for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Croatian version prevails.
